For only £1 you can buy a ticket to be in with a chance of winning this dream prize while helping to support the work of Southern Area Hospice locally. Southern Area Hospice has to fundraise £2.2 million this year alone to continue to provide inpatient, daycare, homecare, hospital and respite services. These services support families and individuals living with cancer, terminal illness, Motor Neurone Disease and Multiple Sclerosis across Newry & Mourne, Dungannon, Armagh, Craigavon and Banbridge.
The ‘Win a Car Campaign’ is a vital part of the drive to meet this year’s enormous fundraising target.
Fiona Stephen’s Corporate Fundraiser Southern Area Hospice Services said, “There are so many local people who need the support of hospice services either in their own homes, with our palliative care team in local hospitals or through our daycare and inpatient facilities. Each person who buys a £1 ticket for the ‘Win a Car Campaign’ is not only showing support for each and every person who needs these services but they are also in with a chance of winning a dream car, fully insured by Autoline for one year.
“We would like to once again convey our thanks to our generous supporters Autoline Insurance Group, Prentice Mini, Portadown, as well as Buttercrane Shopping Centre and other outlets where the car is displayed during the event. We would like to thank all of our tickets sellers and those who continue to support Hospice by buying tickets year after year.”

Michael Blaney, Managing Director Autoline Insurance Group said, “We are delighted once again this year to support Southern Area Hospice Services ‘Win a Car Campaign’. The Southern Area Hospice medical, nursing, auxiliary, fundraising staff and volunteers right across our area do a tremendous job in helping those in our community who need support. We, at Autoline think it is important for us to show our appreciation for the work of the Hospice through supporting this campaign and we hope that despite the difficult economic climate the 2010 ‘Win an Car Campaign’ will be the most successful to date.”
Tickets for the draw go on sale on Monday 2nd August and will be available in Buttercrane Shopping Centre, The Mall, Armagh and Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon. Tickets will also available from the Fundraising Office at Southern Area Hospice in Newry and in local supermarkets on selected dates. The draw will take place on Saturday 30th October 2010.
