Officially named as the ‘Best Place to Work’, Julie Gibbons, Operations Director, Autoline Insurance Group, accepted Autoline’s first award in the large organisation section. The judges said that: “This was the most competitive of categories and Autoline was a standout winner – one which underlined a relentless pursuit of excellence and provided examples of best practice in creating and maintaining a committed, effective and motivated workforce.”

The second gong was awarded for Best Innovative Employer and was accepted by Caroline Currie, Sales Director, Autoline Insurance Group. The judges commented: “Rarely can an application have better articulated the importance of developing people and products as a key for growth. Autoline has a wide range of practical approaches to involve, engage and motivate staff and clearly this is a company planning for acquisition.”

In a difficult economic climate, this award recognises that Autoline has demonstrated innovative approaches to meeting the needs of tomorrow’s workforce and to face considerable new challenges whilst the economy is emerging from recession.
